What would you choose man tgx xxl or iveco stralis [Merged]

If it was just one driver driving the truck, I’d pick the stralis. If its going to be used by other drivers, then the MAN is probably a better choice. They are better built and can take a bit more punishment than Ivecos.

Thanks for that info gasgas that puts a different look on things

I know you have read the link from gasgas, but do not read to much into it. First and foremost they are talking about vehicles built op to 2008, so no comparison to newer built vehicles.

It would just be me driving it no one else drives them unless we’re on holiday lol,
Iv been looking at them on the road and I must admit the ivecos do look rather nice and growing on me,

In that case, I’d personally go for the stralis every time. Nothing wrong with MANs, but for me, the stralis just edges it.

Had a Sawyers Transport MAN TGX 480XXL there for 8months, just turning 3yrs old end of Feb and over 500k on her :exclamation: :exclamation:
Couldn’t really fault her at all,
with middle top locker door off had full size microwave installed.
Gearbox bit funny in reverse but at full weight the 480 pulled like a donkey on steroids and could outclimb up M62 E Scanny R500/Vol FH500 and FH460 wouldn’t get near :exclamation: :exclamation:
