G cab,basic uncomfortable underpowered,no leg room,apart from that a great truck.
Now you don’t mean that harve, you know we all love them. You forgot about no second steer or gear lever in the work place.
and the fact that they don’t work very well nite work cos they seem to keep bumping into things. present authors excluded from this thread of course. Lol!!!

That could be the fault of the mirror shades that turn instantly to welding goggles when hit by on coming headlights. After all one has to look COOL in the big scanky scarnyar.

My place run both types
But iv’e only drove a daf a couple of times,
And as you say the cab is alot nicer, but there are some nice touches in the volvo, that i like,
It would be a hard one if i had the choice between the 2,
My volvo is a hard one to beat out on the road, she puls like a train, and does a good 90k’s
I’ve been allocated an FM 340 on a 57 plate for my everyday work, it’s good at what it does, if a little tired, but having come from vehicle recovery work where I was cab hopping between an Isuzu NQR and a Cargo Tector, I’ve not much to compare it to!
Incidentally, I share other’s concerns about Renault cab space, having just used one on a run to Aberdeen. I used a 12 plate rigid (the model name escapes me) and while it was a nice truck to drive, there wasn’t room to swing a cat, and I’m a short arse!
