I currently drive a M.A.N and what a bag of crap, fully auto takes forever to get up to top speed and wanders all over the road with its dustbin lid steering wheel , hiwever i do drive a 12 plate volvo fm12 and its brilliant compared to that M.A.N

Don,t worry John , things are in hand for a new fleet of tanks any size ,shape or colour as long as you accept this is what you are getting !
As they say ----Enjoy
Cheers Bassman
Ah ! A couple of ‘real’ ERF’s
Hi, Pat
From when a truck was a lorry and a trucker was a lorry driver, a different era .
Bassman
Nice pics Bassman. Not sure how long I’d want to drive them regularly in today’s traffic, but they certainly had style.
Just been given a new toy;
Can foresee a few of me current farms that it may well not go into, rear steer or no bloody rear steer.
Would’ve preferred another FM but I ain’t complaining; only the second new truck I’ve ever had in nearly 30 years on the road.
Hi Sidevalve
Is that Renault one that works out of Selby?
I did a few years on feed work ,
Oldacres and then Premier and finally not to be forgotten Porters. Good jobs until Porters took over, all out of Flixboro’.
I’ve loaded out of Selby a few times.
Bassman.
No, Carmarthen mate; though they’ve probably got one at Selby.
So we know Scania is the choice of drivers…,and what is the idea of a Pole ?

It’s a device used by employers to keep drivers’ wages down and vacancies closed.
(tin hat on awaiting incoming from Orys )
Had the pleasure of driving these for 6 months.
The Actros has got to be my favourite drive, although I’m perfectly happy with a MAN TGX.
Got any photos of your mishap.

Well, I was tootling around in a DAF SSC 530, 55 plate til two weeks ago when I manage to totally rearrange the cab position. It now sits 6" further back on the chassis then it did before I hit a horsebox up the arse at high speed late on a Sunday evening.
She is sat in the yard looking very sorry for herself and as a punishment, I am driving around in a MAN 220 with the manouverability of a [zb] submarine on local pallet delivery work
gonzothejaffa1:
same truck as last year
scratch that changing from an man to a daf
