What is wrong with drivers nowadays?

It has been proved time and time again that seatbelts do more good than harm 99% of the time.
I grew up riding motorcycles before helmets became law and as I could not afford one did not wear one.
Also drove cars and trucks before belts became law but would not dream of not wearing one now. I value my ugly mug too much.

Ironically the one and only ever serious accident I have ever been involved in I was not wearing a seatbelt and neither was my passenger. We were on a main road when a car that should have given way at a crossroads just came straight through. Both cars were written off.
A retired doctor had not seen the give way lines on the road. It turned out me and my mate were absolutely fine and the doctor had a bruised chest due to his seatbelt.
Could have been so different. Clunk click you morons.

so you could afford a motorbike but not a helmet? ■■■■■■■■…

Haha. Not just me who is onto you Alby.

I bet you regret the whole ’ no helmet ’ comment now.

so you could afford a motorbike but not a helmet? ■■■■■■■■…

You read correctly. I spent all my savings and also borrowed money to buy the bike. As I then had to pay the loan back I could barely afford petrol never mind anything else so NO it’s not bollox.

The only thing I regret is having to waste time replying to those who think they know but don’t.

I wont wear a belt in a lorry-my mate had a bad crash in the tip coming down the haul road last year, lost control and hit another lorry coming up(yeah I know ■■■■ poor driver etc, but I know the tip in question and it was an accident waiting to happen) both vehicles were Volvo fmx’s (my mate hit the other one amidships) and were both from the same company :open_mouth:
he dived across the cab when he knew the collision was imminent-it pinned the steering wheel to the seat and smashed the front right hand corner of the cab to bits.the tacho said that the impact was 16 mph-it literally smashed it to pieces-ive just texted him and asked for the pics,he is trying to send them to me,but he said he wont ever wear a belt in a lorry and neither will I…
if you hit something at 56 mph -ie another lorry then you’re dead ,simple as.

yes it is ■■■■■■■■-how much was a helmet back in the day? 2 and sixpence? you didn’t get a helmet because you didn’t need one,and didn’t think it was important you bloody liar…

Pin your lugholes back Albion and listen.

I don’t have any problem with you because you are a complete stranger. You have a reputation of being on here and giving it the big 'un. People get fed up with being patronised in the first place, but when you come on here and whine about driving standard’s constantly, and then start on people not being restrained and calling them moron’s, you come across as a hypocrite.

You cannot post on here about riding around Greek Islands with no helmet, and then claim you couldn’t afford a helmet, and expect to be taken as a credible person. Or was it the case that you couldn’t afford one in the early years, and then still couldn’t after being able to afford to get to a different Country?

If you like talking ■■■■■■■■, just say so. (I love it). Because you are talking a great deal of it.

albion 1971-show us some pics of your “bike” …come on what did have ?

so what bike did you have and thought it was a good idea to ride with no helmet?

You cannot post on here about riding around Greek Islands with no helmet, and then claim you couldn’t afford a helmet

Yes I can. I can post exactly what I want and if it pi**es you off so much the better.

hahaha a Honda c70/90 .that’s all you should be able to be in charge of…

It doesn’t ■■■■ me off mate because I don’t know you. I simply assumed that you wanted to be perceived as credible.

That’s why I suggested that you ’ cant ’ post what you do. But I don’t mind you making a ■■■ of yourself tbh.

Carry on…

So how many don’t belt up don’t belt up on an airplane then

i’m not flying the “airplane”-and my lorry doesn’t do 600 mph and cruise at 32 000 feet…
but when I ride a motor cycle I wear a crash helmet-if I" couldn’t afford" one I wouldn’t do it…

Listen let me put you straight. I do not care what you or anyone else on here thinks of me. I have plenty real friends who know how credible I am and also know the real me and what I have and haven’t done.
You know very little apart from the bull I post on here. Call me a ■■■ as often as you like as I take no offence knowing your completely wrong.
