Trust me if UKIP lose the next election Scotland will wish that it had broken away from the UK,when the socialist zb’s in the new Lib/Lab coalition,impose an 80% fossil fuel tax,and cover Scotland in nuclear power stations and wind generators to stop bs global warming.Before signing us all over to a federal Europe and increasing immigration.

Agreed. Thats why well never get a vote down here. I hope Scotland gets her independence, I sometimes feel that we English have more in common with the French than Scotch people. Thats not meaning any dis-respect to, ok.....*Scottish* folk, but they do have their own quirky little ways. I actually think it would be a real opportunity for them and theres no reason it wouldn`t be a success. There are other small countries in Europe who do rather well alone.

In which case by current indicators being tied to a Lib/Lab run UK would be ( a lot ) worse than going with Salmand until Scotland is out of the UK then kick him out in favour of a Scottish anti EU government.

If Scotland is bright enough to realise that it’s got the benefit of massive industrial ability ( if it decides to put it’s people back to work in engineering ),fuel reserves in terms of gas,oil and coal,and agricultural and fish stocks and a relatively low population to support the choice between staying in the UK and/or EU or getting out of both is a no brainer.

Or a situation in which jobs match labour supply means that there are no ‘crappy’ jobs just a continuing beneficial loop of high wages therefore more disposable incomes to spend in the economy with the ability to sustain it by having less people to provide services for as a proportion of GDP.Unlike the present situation which applies in the UK as a whole.
