It has taught me there actually are mature european adult males who see themselves as professional line-haul interstate ‘big rig’ drivers even though driving EU cabbed ‘kennel on wheels’ living 24/7 like factory farmed animals cooped up in a space that proportionately the much maligned gypsies wouldn’t impose upon their dogs let alone live in themselves, an identical space that I can barely wait eight hours to vacate, perhaps that a bit OTT, I don’t think they are mature.
And Ive learnt there are lots of narrow minded truck drivers who like to belittle others over the choices they make in life, maybe to make themselves feel better, clearly not mature enough to understand that we are all different and like to live our lives in different ways. Something I learned as a young child.

Such a bitter angry little man. The actual fact of the matter is I’ll bet you however much money you like that in 10 years you’ll still be doing a job you hate, ie driving trucks, and I wont be driving trucks at all. So don’t pretend to know one iota about my life. The stupid always fall into the trap of making too many assumptions, and you clearly fall into that category.

Have you got a substantial inheritance coming your way?, deviously allowing you to put off today that which others, with no hidden fortunes, have no choice but to plan for in their rapidly running out ‘tomorrows’, or do you really believe you are the ‘peter pan’ never never to grow old of the hgv driving world, with an everlasting supply of tommorows to live serenely in your diminutive and insult to human dignity EU ‘kennel on wheels’, like it or not the wheels will come off your temporary suspension of facing up to the realities of life and your obvious to everybody else unsustainable way of life has to end.
Your ceaseless childlike patter about happiness being far more important than the material things in life is for the self delusionary, thats fine by me you can kid yourself untill you eventually find you’re living sadly in a pile of bricks not of your own called an old folks home, you’re something of a master believer of your own truly massive internet propaganda not giving a fig about the consequences of someone stupid enough to believe there is anything but a ‘train hitting the buffers’ end to such a lifestyle choice.
Like so many aspects of your posts your way of life is actually a lie, when total idiots such as yourself create an overwhelming expectation from the transport industry of other drivers, having no wish to provide their labours in such an obvious defiling manner, then you and your self deluded nights out ‘kennel on wheels’ brigade, making up at most 10% of the hgv driving community overall, can expect those from the majority who can see the wood for the trees to have their say, something I learnt as a child was to grow up along the way.

Luke there’s plenty time in life to drive round the doors I think if anyone got the chance to go we’re you go in a cracking truck they should take it .you seem to work for a decent firm who don’t give you much hasstle
That I should be grateful to get away from the U.K. while the timing was right . Reading the tales of misery from posters on here confirms my choices , falling into one of the best driving jobs in Canada must be a bonus .
