A spelling trap.
I was in Bournemouth today watching a brass band dressed as spidermen.
Got to go now, nurse is dishing out the meds.
Were you there on your own ?

Some people think what happens at their firm is a secret but in reality everyone and their dog knows what they really are like.
Not all drivers are treated equally by the same employers.

You was just testing us then, that’s what I thought
A bit like The Krypton Factor.Or my fat fingers using the phone keyboard.
what this forum as very much highlighted on a greater scale than what was known is the peanut wages long hours and poor employers within the industry.
The best thing this forum has taught me is when I’m being shafted by an employer. My last employer wanted me to work over 80 hours a week including weekends for 70 pound a day hoping that I wouldn’t know any better because I’m young and inexperienced.
I’ve found that there is at least one decent employer from this site. I’m perfectly happy with work and conditions!

Just remember a lot of people big up their jobs to make themselves look important.
Some of those telling you they do 80 hours hard graft probably only trunk up and down with a trailer swap. 10 hours max a day.
Its taught me that on the whole drivers moan but do little about it because if they did there’d be nothing to moan about lol
I think the answers to anything within the transport industry lie within the posts made on this forum, I have learnt an awful lot from reading the knowledge on here, thanks.

Have any of you any idea how dumb you sound by asking questions about what to take ona night out for instance ?
How to reverse and artic ? … there’s not a living sole can tell you how to reverse and artic, it’s something you can either do or not do.
Should I report the company to VOSA because my light doesn’t work ? was another, Fix the damm light you idiot.I know, I know, you think I’m a miserable git but, it’s such a sad thing when the industry has resorted to having drivers who have no idea about real life
Rant over

I have learnt that many people hate TruckNet- think its full of idiots, but cant resist coming back day after day and putting their tuppence worth in , I have also learnt that many people cant get the concept that we don’t provide the content… those using it do- so if your a regular user and the contents crap, guess whose at fault?
It’s taught me that I’m a true menace to trucking society…

…until I joined Tnet I thought working for Stobarts was what all truckers aspired toSome people do aspire to earning £7 something an hour.
Mainly truckers like you say though. Most lorry drivers set their sights a little higher.
£7.50 per hour?
This is a handy site…and has lots of good info…the banter becomes bitchiness when a simple question is asked…hence I would think many people are afraid to ask. Me on the other hand couldn’t give a a MONKEYS…if you take my drift.

I have to say Dave that this band is very good and they have been going for quite a few years. They also dress up as batman and robin (plural) lol
HTH
The Bournemouth Carnival Band are very good. They usually lead any carnival procession around here as they can get the crowds going.
Have to say though, when they pull up in a supermarket car park on their way to or after a gig, you certainly look twice and think the meds ain’t working as you watch 8 spidermen pile out of a Peugeot 806
The spidermen were very funny and did rouse the crowds in to laughter and clapping. And they flirt with the ladies in the pubs and cafes as they march past.So well done to them.I think most of them had a drink ir two prior to march off.
