■■■■ off Rob… same rules as when I said I’d seen Rachel Riley’s breasticles; pictures or it didn’t happen!

Ok, I’ve revived this thread as the same (or at least similar) scenario happened to me tonight.M6 n/b where the inside lane becomes the lane for M62 Leeds, I’m bombing down in lane 2 (or lane 1 for M6) when this 4 wheeler rigid gets alongside me about halfway, and he suddenly realises he needs to be in the lane for the M62, so he signals to pull in on me half way past
I thought ‘‘Yeh, and [zb] you mate’’ so put my foot down hard, managed to squeeze another k, and blasted my horns at him.
The bast kept pulling in, I saw a family in a car behind me, so didn’t dare back off a couple of clicks in case I slaughtered them with the arse end of my killing machine, so I shunted the [zb] into the central reservation and went on my way, giving him a coffe shake as I passed him on the nearside, I looked in the mirror he managed to correct it, so no harm done.Well sort of, it DID happen, but not exactly like that.
I backed off a bit, flashed him in, and he pulled across safely.
For good measure the guy stuck his hand out of window with a wave, followed by a thumbs up.
I took it as a ‘‘thanks mate, and a sorry I know I did wrong’’ kind of gesture, I waved back and we both went on our merry ways. How [zb] good am I eh?
First bit is believable, the second part is just a fairy tale…

I recorded it all, …one hand on the wheel, the other holding my phone, even managed to brew a cup of tea at the same time, and have a shave while steering with my knees.
Thing is I dropped my phone, so had to concentrate fully on trying to find it on the floor, it’s amazing that I still managed to shunt him off the road with all that going on.

Nothing amazing Rob, you’re a professional and I’d expect no less. Hope you’re teaching the young un all these tricks.

Not quite enough multi tasking there Rob, when on the floor looking for the phone you could easily have peeled the spuds for tea and got them on the go as well …

I used to think you were just wierd with your Rachel Riley obsession. Then I googled her and discovered it wasn’t that fat lass who used to be on Emmerdale and also You’ve been framed. My apologies.
I’ll leave the luscious Lisa Riley to you Maoster
The 7.5 tonne driver was mostly responsible. But the cam truck driver could’ve easily avoided this accident if he’d had any clue what he was doing. So blame wise I’d say it would be a 75/25 against the 7.5 tonner…

I love my dashcam but its there to protect me only when I am driving safely by the rules of the road, the cam operator in this instance could have prevented the incident not by breaking but by coming off the gas while giving a frustrational blast of the horn then vindictively send a copy of the incident to his company
Same here, my dashcam is to prove my innocence, if it proves otherwise it will be getting launched as far away from my lorry as possible.

I respectfully disagree. The 7.5 tonne driver’s roadcraft was less than perfect, I agree. However, the skill in being a professional driver is in being able to assess potential problems as they arise and to react accordingly. Even before the 7.5 tonner moved to the left, my sixth sense was telling me that he was likely to do that. I would therefore have prepared for that, the key to safe driving is to drive defensively, and Mr Camera Man was driving aggressively throughout the entire incident. He seemed determined to “teach the other driver a lesson”.
I’ve had a few bumps in my time, but have avoided numerous others by predicting a potential problem correctly and taking appropriate action, even when I would legally have been entitled to “keep 'er lit”. I imagine many of us could say the same.
