What do you like about your job?

Paid every Thursday, wages always bang on and don’t have a hard life.

I’m not having a dig, but being paid correctly and on time for what you do is not something to like about a job. It’s what they’re legally obliged to do, is it not?

I agree but I’ve worked for some firms that aren’t quite as on the ball. I was looking for a positive and apart from that I struggle because the job I do on fridges is insanely boring and unfulfilling but the wage isn’t bad and I’m home every night zzZZZ

The peace, quiet and solitude. Not taking work home. The English countryside. Convertibles.

Yep got to say I had a great run this morning over north yorkshire and the roads were nice and quiet early on, thoroughly enjoyed today.

Full time work, very early start (4am) but it means I get to see my little girl before she goes to bed so I think it works out really nicely.

Sleep in my bed

Took ages to get the perfect C+E driving job.

Probably 3 quid an hour less than trampers but I have a life

Seriously? Nothing anymore, the very life and soul has been ripped out of it and the dreaded day of retirement can’t come soon enough!
But on the positive side, I’m still happy(ish) and healthy!

You sound it!
What I like about the job is not being stuck in an office all day dealing with office politics and the petty, small minded nonsence that people just HAVE to get up to. Going into a delivery point and seeing a stapler with “front desk. do not remove” written all over it would make me want to top myself if I worked there. Least in this job your on your own away from people most of the time

One of the few good things left in the job that I like, is a 2/3 day multi drop job. I am left alone to my own devices, no phone calls for a couple of days, just like the old days were.
I would not last 5 mins at a job where you are being constantly watched, monitored, and hassled on the bloody phone by some young spotty arsed ‘traffic planner’
