What do you consider to be good road etiquette?

You do see a lot of vehicles fitted with automatic lighting that pass you in adverse conditions with no rear illumination simply because they assume ALL the lights come on and not just the headlamps, I have mentioned this to several drivers and they honestly didn’t realise this. Otherwise it is tailgating that annoys me, and I don’t remember that being so much of an issue when I was truck driving for a living 17 years ago?

Pete.

and I don’t remember that being so much of an issue when I was truck driving for a living 17 years ago?

No because it did not happen nearly so much then. Now it has become a common sight and I sometimes wonder if the culprits are even aware■■? :unamused:

You missed the one where they overtake you just before the slip road, left hand indicator whilst along side and braking has they pull into your stopping distance, you look in the mirror and there’s no vehicle behind you but they have to get in front.

Big +1 on that one.

Another one that narks me is when someone ■■■■■ up and you use your horn or lights to warn them of your presence. They then start abusing you, like it’s your fault they’re stupid!
