Quite unusual to see them all in different colours
Hi Dave
Is that deliberate, or do they just buy them in whatever colour they are and sign write them. There always very smart fair play to them.
cheers
John.
Haven’t a clue John,have seen them around. Andrew ( pete359 ) would probably know.
Cheers Dave.

.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Andrew,
I didn’t know that you did the paint job on their moters. I knew that you had more knowledge of them than I had because I’d seen them on the South Wales thread quite a few times.
To be fair I think they look good in different colours,it’s different,a nice tidy fleet.
Cheers Dave.

Ivor Duggan’s new Merc on the Euro Commercial stand at Carmarthen.

One of Keedwells mighty machines.

A fine looking line up of Skip lorries.

Looks like the reg is older than the lorries.

Parked in the middle of the Scania’s,this Ford D1000 tipper of Thomas waste, who I think are from Brynmawr.

One of G Owen & Sons, Scania’s from Newtown Mid Wales.

Another of G Owen Scania’s seen at the show.

One of S W Roberts from Whitland Volvo’s.

Funny you should ask Harry. I have just organised with a local bodywork chap to have it done up and resprayed, the van itself is worth about £100,but the kit in it for me to drive is worth about 6k. For a thousand pounds I couldn’t buy another van to suit me,so as this one is mechanically sound I decided to give her a new lease of life.I have been driving it for the last fortnight,as the electric back doors on my sprinter are being sorted after a breakup of one of the electric moters.
Cheers Dave.

Scania with a lot of bling.

No problem Harry, have about 30 pics taken in the last week from the transit, will post them once I’ve finished the Carmarthen Truck Show pic’s.
I don’t think you are being nosey at all, glad someone asks about my vans.I’m only a small commercial vehicle driver these days, but I still enjoy driving.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Don’t know about driving small stuff a pal of mine took up driving a a 7 cwt van when the BRS finished like me did’nt fancy working the big stuff for the private guys, his verdict after we met after quite a spell was he wished he’d never bothered with the big stuff and took up the little job years ago, according to him he was better payed and better respected than he’d known anywhere else he’d ever worked.
