Blowers old place at Halfway House is now owned by Trevor Parry, they are a Foden service dealer and I have found them really helpful and they dont make you sit in a waiting room like most of em. Trevor gets round the shows with a AEC 8 wheeler flat, be worth a trip up to get a photo Dave. Ithink he owned it years ago and managed to buy it back after it was restored.Mark

This one… it’s a nice wagon…

That is a nice old moter Steve,a couple of good pics.
Cheers Dave.

Hi legion,
Thanks for that info, will have a ride up that way sometime.Chinese six are rare bit of kit. Powells of Kington used to run a ERF Chinese six, back in the 60’s.
Cheers Dave.

Roy Morgan’s Vulcan pictured alongside some older lorries at a show.

Very modern drivers seat on this Vulcan, parked next to the Ford.

3 old lorries and a old tractor (not a lorry but thought you might like to see it)seen on today on the Shropshire border, I reconise the Bedord and ERF, but not sure what the little lorry is, or the tractor, all might be for sale if anybody fancies a challange!!.

Not sure Andrew, could be an old QL Bedford or a Ford. I’m sure someone on here will come up with the answer.I know where there’s a Foden tractor unit that need very little work,it’s also for sale.
Cheers Dave

I reckon you are right Harry, there was a farmer this way who had one of those when I was a kid,he used to bring his milk churns to a stand in the next village with it.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave and Harry, just a couple more pics of the little lorry, might be intrested in the Foden, depends what type it is. I could kick myself as I was offered a couple of little Leyland Tractor units (small LAD cabs) on a farm by Brampton Bryan a few years ago, called there today but I think that they are long gone, one was a early 70s Leyland demonstrater, still in Leyland colours.

regards Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
It’s a Haulmaster type cab on an X plate, six wheeler unit with a Rolls 265 in it,you probably know the lorry,it’s dry stored.
Cheers Dave.

Hi, not sure that its a Fordson, just checked out a few photos on the net and the Fordsons seemed to have more rounded cabs, but I could be wrong.
