Hi Harry,
No problem he was on the move, there’s only a few spaces for cars at that cafe, used to be a good one, haven’t been in there for years, usually stop at the Lazy Trout a few miless back up the road, but haven’t been there for a few months.
I expect you travelled that road a few times over the years. There is still a lot of transport on the A49,it links South Wales to the North,it’s much better thee days with most places bypassed. Craven Arms is only small with the road being fairly straight forward through there.
Cheers Dave.

Hi boys
Harry, thats a very busy road even if you got it up the kerb you would still be in the way. There is an ind est on the other side of the road a few hundred yards back you might be able to find a spot there but then you would have to walk :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Dave, further back opersite the garage have you noted the turn tables for cars outside the row of houses. They must have been designed for woman drivers that could not reverse in.  There’s not many left now most have been covered over.

Regards Keith.

Hi boys
Dave your too quick for me, you must type with two fingers

Regards Keith

hiya,
Keith and Dave I’m a one finger typist but have two fingers for the world and parliamentarians, Keith answer me one question is the “dessert” as in desert as in old Norm “sandman” or dessert as in rice pudding, i’ts been plagueing me for a long time.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi boys
Harry, Dessert as in sand, cannot stand rice puddin the lumps get in my teeth   BTW spellins not my stongest point didn’t like school :imp:

Regards Keith

hiya,
With you there on the schooling Keith never went very often, as a kid spent most of my schooldays working on a farm for some friends, but did quite well in the forces where the education was voluntary, anything to get off cleaning the lorries when i was’nt driving them, used to go to the army school on days to suit your duties i chose to do mine on the days set aside for vehicle maintainance so someone else got the job of greaseing and cleaning my motor, what you might call method in my madness, it must have rubbed off into civvy life always managed to avoid washing and polishing for a full working life as a driver, OK Keith so you won’t give me a job, but i was canny on the tools.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry & Keith,
Only a one fingered typist, not that good, could have done ok at school, but like you both I didn’t like it. Both of my sisters are school teachers, also some of their kids are going to do the same. Me all I ever wanted to do was--------wait for it
drive lorries.
I was same as you Harry, either with my dad on the lorry as a kid,or knocking around the local farms, didn’t like being in the house.
Haven’t noticed the turntables in Craven Arms Keith, will have a look next time I’m through there.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave I doubt very much that Volvo can carry 20.3 unless that Bulkrite body is super light. It must of been tared empty of diesel and Ad-blue and no driver. I’ve got a euro 5 volvo 8-wheeler and know a couple of other people who have and there fairly heavy.

I think they have to tare in every morning. I will ask Paul when I see him again,he’s pleased with it and the other new one with the same spec.I know of a few that have Volvo’s that are on the heavy side, these have Bulkrite bodies which are fairly light, what body has yours got ?.
Cheers Dave.
