Hi Marc,
Nice one, haven’t got that catalogue,he still runs about four, three artics and an eight legger. Roy Edwards aka M A Evans always ran a tidy fleet and still gets behind the wheel himself when needed.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Had a few knights heads and a big “A” swiped over the years one gaffer threatened me with the sack because of the damage to the grill, it had happened when i was in digs are you supposed to sit on the bumper all night, anyway i told that guy to stuff it and went home, he was at my house nearly as soon as me and asked me to change my mind but like old Maggie Thatcher this man was’nt for turning, and a class 1 HGV was worth it’s weight in gold in those days, i was employed and back tramping before lunch next day with a nearly new motor complete with big “A” and knights head, happy days.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry,
Would imagine it came off with the roads being so rough after the frost or a bird flew into it,only noticed it when I uploaded the pic. Just a minor detail. These blokes do some serious distance as you once did.
Cheers Dave.

Hi John,
It’s on the A4103 Hereford to Worcester road, parked where the Fromes Hill transport cafe was,now an Indian. There is also an Army type shop on site, the Tank is theirs as an advertising feature.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Martyn,
Did notice PROTH on the offside mudflap. There are quite a few rigids from your way working from these quarries at the moment, also artics from everywhere loading dust from them, came up from Kington earlier lorries from Scotland, Derbyshire, you name it,don’t know how long it will last, also don’t expect the rates are that brilliant.
Cheers Dave.
