And one of my lot heading for home

Not bad from my first attempt at moving vehicles,I’d even had a couple of pints of guinness to wash my dinner down.
Good job the missus was driving

Hi Tony,
Great pics, thats something I haven’t done is put a load on together, will have to start doing it,glad you enjoyed the guinness  .Were they taken on the A49  .
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave,Yes they were taken northbound on the A49 between ludlow and craven arms.
Me and the wife had a day off work,so we went out for lunch at the squirrel at ludlow.
Makes a change for me to be in the passenger seat.

Hi Tony,
Thought it was the A49,recognised the bit where Alec Archer Scania was coming out of Bromfield.
Cheers Dave.

Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dave have’nt seen the “EDAGENER” nameplate in the windscreen for a while or are you using the Sprinter to ferry your good lady around, a bit of comfort like, tell you what she’s a dab hand with the Kodak turning out some cracking “moving” pics.
thanks harry long retired.

Hello Dave, and all fans of this site. Dennis looks as if you were enjoying yourself there whipping through that 16 speed box. Those F88’s realy were the business, looks nice as well.
Regards to all Paul.

Hi Paul,
Dennis loks as if he’ rushing back to get the F88 painted and out earning, they looked a big moter in their day,but I saw one parked at Prees Heath by the Midway on a road run,it was parked next to a Renault Maggnum and looked small in comparison.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Harry,
Most of the pics have been taken out of the sprinter,it’s got a bigger windscreen forr taking pics also it’'s a lot more comferatable than the transit and about a foot higher.Fair play Tracy is good at getting the pics on the move,on some of the roads you don’t get much warning, the lorry is on you pretty quick. I’m very lucky to have a woman who doesn’t mind taking pics of lorries, most women hate them.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave,I got to take my hat off to Tracy, moving shots are difficult to take,if you think about it if youre doing 50mph and the lorry youre taking is doing 40 mph then really youre photographing something moving at 90mph…she is doing bloody well,do you hire her out mate…you might make a few bob!!

hiya,
Only asked my old lady the once if she wanted a lift to the shops which i had to pass en-route to the yard, she caught the bus, wonder was it my driving.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry ,
Mine doesn’t mind coming in the vans, doen’t want to drive them, she drives her car,but won’t drive either of my vans, would get rid of my transit, only thing is the vans not worth anything to sell, only scrap value, more value to me as a spare.
Cheers Dave.

Cheers Dave.

Hi John,
The one I saw was green I think,it was about 10 years ago, didn’t know the road run was on,callled at the Midway for breakfast one sunday morning and here were all these old moters, trouble was I had a passenger with me who had no interest in lorries, otherwise I might have spent more time there, but had no camera onboard either. There will be another day.
Cheers Dave.
