Makes a change for one to be at the front of the queue,
They are all tucked up and loaded at the yard until the 4th,
MERRY XMAS TO YOU DAVE.I’m sure our paths will meet one day

Hi Tony,
I must have passed you on the road at sometime,on your way home from work,I’m either in a silver sprinter or a red transit, but will be down to the sales for some pics sometime.
Happy Xmas and New Year to you and your family.
Cheers Dave.

There is usually a good flow of traffic into the sales during the week before and after the sale.Just before you turn off the road ito our site, there is a good photo point,or i suppose you could actually go into the sale and take some photos.

hiya,
Dave fit headboards on the vans with your moniker on, only problem would be wearing light switches out replying to all the flashers.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi tonyb,
Did go on the site once to drop something off for a mate who was buying and selling there, will have a look when I’m next down that way,its not far from here.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Harry,
Got my moniker on the ■■■■■■,its not in the pic but have got my CB handle on a plate in the windscreen.Do plenty of light flashing,a lot of lorry drivers know me and my vans.
Cheers Dave.

Saw this one on the A480 between Woonton and Sarnsfield Herefordshire, reflection of CB handle showing Harry.

hiya,
Does the rest of the handle read "ER EHT EVAD"if so it must be one hell of a long number plate.
thanks harry long retired.

   No just RENEGADE Harry, been my handle on CB for thirty years, there is another member called Renegade on here, thats why I put the bits in front.
Cheers Dave.

Seddon Atkinson 210 17 four wheeler flatbed of J & P Turner of Kington Herefordshie, they are a very old Corn Merchant company who used to run about 12 lorries from their Kington Mill and 3 more from a depot in Brecon, nowadays they just run this flatbed and a transit van.

Another angle of Tuners Sedatki, both these pics taken by mobile phone,so the quality not that good.

Stuck this one on again,to see if Fin can remember some of these in the old Kington lorry park.

Met this Scania livestock wagon on the B5009 in Babbinswood near Oswestry, this was formerly the A5 before Oswestry bypass was built.

Ello Dave,is that Austins block lorry? Dont think thats Hammers KTH, I`ve got somethink like Leighton or Lewis for the FL, Bill Mcqueens Foden, not sure if thats Emlyn Powels E series

Hi Fin,
Correct on the block lorry, was Austin Gayther’s,the KTH was driven by Ray Evans from Kington, who now drives a Sun Valley hatchery lorry like the one featured on the previous page, the FL7 was Terry Lloyd’s who is now in the weighbridge at Strinds, the Foden, Bill McQueens, the ERF on the end was David Gwynne’s who now has a FM Volvo eight legger in tarmac colours.
Cheers Dave.

That ERF EC10 looks well,is it still running somewhere - if not,it ought to be

Haven’t a clue Chris,my brotherinlaw took that pic in the early 90’s,the bloke that drove it has got a Volvo FM now as far as I know, they do the blocks from Wellington near Hereford nowadays,so we don’t see much of them these days.
Cheers Dave.
