Yes thats one of Hills , they ran a few late registered Guy Big Js also , before finishing up with Bedford TMs , regards Keith .

Lovely picture Pete , Owens having been going for donkeys years , there depot is by the old canal .and they had barges themselves when the canal was open .
Owens did coal out of the Potteries coalfield as well as S wales , and im pretty sure one of there old Fodens ended up with sharples down at eardisley , thank you Trevor .

That motor looks if it could be ex B Rogers Skewen …according to my father they did a lot of work out of Giants Grave …for Thomas Ward who at that time were ship breakers etc …good pic kid ! …Geraint .

G&K Hi , apparently the George Cohen group scapped ships at Newport on the Usk below Newport bridge , after which it was the business was transferred to the far east
B A Rogers also hauled out of Alpha steels Newport , i have a Leyland Marathon leaving the works i will flag up in due course , @

J S Evans had green coloured lorries artics and rigids i remember they used to come to Albion Concrete in Llangadog i think they were also some kind og merchants i can not recall the name of the driver that used to come to Albion
