Does any body know if M J Jones from Llanybbyder are still going ,very smart fleet of Volvos on timber, would see them on the A483 , Shotton and Chirk bound . A photo appeared on the West Wales thread . regards Keith .
Chepstow Chap posted that pic allong with many others of that period Keith. I had a look on operator search, but found nothing. Ianto would be the man to answer that question.

Eirwyn Davies was an owner driver with a VOLVO FH12 painted blue and white if i remember and i think that he has now retired[/ H i ianto thanks for that, i can remember that Volvo at Kronospan . Can you remember B L James from down that way with MANs ? ,and also O James from Llandovery .regards Keith
Owen James passed away a few years ago the business was run by his wife for a couple of years before she sold up by auction.Dont know if B L James has finished as well the last truck he had an ERF 8 wheel crane waggon was up for sale on a well known auction site the other day.Before the ERF i know that B L James ran a MAN artic and 8 wheeler.The driver of the artic Eric [bach] James passed away earlier this year

I remember Owen James wagons behind the filling station which I believe belonged to him as well Ianto. I heard he was ill, but didn’t know he had passed away…
