I am after one of those under bumper spoilers, if anyone has one - let me know please
Was the firm from the Lampeter area though really it was much nearer Llanwrda and their place was on the side of the main road calleb Brian Jones Maestwynog.He ran Bedford TM both wide and narrow cabs with the Detroit 2stroke the trucks were painted blue and red and did a lot of timber haulage again i may be wrong

Was the other haulier that the late Duke RIP drove for Trevor Davies from Llanwrda,they used to haul to Nicholls fencing near Presteigne, also Len Griffiths with a timber artic.

Yes the DUKE did drive for Trevor Davies until they closed down and when they did the DUKE moved to Danny Williams who also bought the lorry it was the only Scania on the fleet. I cant remember the DUKE surname but christian name was Roger.Len Grifiths started his long distance driveing with my father.He drove an ALBION REVIER 6 wheel flat reg no 6WDE.

Does any body know if M J Jones from Llanybbyder are still going ,very smart fleet of Volvos on timber, would see them on the A483 , Shotton and Chirk bound . A photo appeared on the West Wales thread . regards Keith .

Chepstow Chap posted that pic allong with many others of that period Keith. I had a look on operator search, but found nothing. Ianto would be the man to answer that question.

MJ JONES now trades as FOUNDERY COMMERCIALS dealers of second hand trucks but does have an F10 that he takes to shows .
