Cracking pics as usual Tony. Did think of going to the show, but gave it a miss due to it being on grass.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave how’s things ? Its a pity you didn’t go too the show. I didn’t go this year but I have before. Its a really good show and I think you would love it . The grass I know for you is a pain but it would be worth it too go next year. Here’s some of the oldies coming back from the show today . Tony

Dave the Renegade:

Stopped to stoke up for the next stretch of the journey.

The buildings to the left of the photo are from a farm that used to belong to a family called White. Rumour has it that there’s a Ferguson tractor buried in the farmyard, the result of an old well collapsing.

Even more useless information from a rambling old idiot. :unamused:
The old firm used to haul peas from that farm and another two in the vicinity to Smedley’s cannery at Evesham. The peas had to be delivered within an hour of shelling- I don’t think we ever missed the deadline. Not bad for two Thorneycrofts & an A-model petrol Bedford. And no motorways!

Hi Casey,
I used to travel that road a lot when I was on the tippers, travelling to Gloucester or Cirencester area’s. I think I can remember the peas growing there in the late 1960’s.
You keep rambling Casey, its good to hear the various tales from different area’s.
Cheers Dave.

Excellent pics Tony. Even better to see them travelling on the road than parked at a show.
Cheers Dave.
