What I can see under the wing is daylight, considering an 8lxb would end at the back panel of the sleeper you shouldn’t be seeing daylight there !
I will have to see if Mike Holloway has any more pics of it Trev.

as ive said before this guy did have a 240 gardner fitted my dad worked in the garage at the time and I also remember it as a nipper. roy also had b series erfs fitted with them , I love the sound of a straight 8

Hi Duncan, long time since you have been on here. You and I and all the drivers around a fifty mile radius of Knighton know that Roy Edwards Big J was a genuine 240 from new, but try convincing the none believers.

I was talking to Pete AKA Finnly for quite a while at the show. He came in off his holiday to be with the rest of Mick Gwynn’s drivers and the fleet for the show.

We saw this Foden steamer yesterday on the B4215 at Preston Cross on the Herefordshire- Gloucester border.
They were making their way to the Steam Rally at Onslow Park near Shrewsbury.
