Dave the Renegade:
Its a credit to the people of Lloyds of Ludlow that keep their classic vehicles going. We go to several shows throughout the year and there’s usually some of their old ones there.
Nice photo Dave, This MK 5 Would be one of the last ones produced before the Ergo was introduced, Regards Larry.

I think this example was an ex military one - subsequently reg’d DWP 790W -
Evening all, Dave sorry that I did not get to meet you and Tracey, was only able to stay a couple of hours before the inevitable call back to base, (this time it was Italian machinery that had given up the ghost)!!! Think that I saw Trev, and waved as I was leaving, on the edge of a group around Pursys “Needle Nose”, that Pete must be unique in the UK. What a beautiful lorry, but that S80 Foden was a gem, must have an interesting history, she has a very heavy duty back end for a 4x2, complete with turn down hubs.
As you say a lovely little show, friendly, and good craic, with real people. Thanks for the pictures of my old girl, she is a gem to drive, and goes everso well with 200 bales on her!

I was the one in the chair with Trev and Mark AKA pursy.Didn’t realise it was yours until Trev mentioned it,and by that time you had gone.Looks in good fettle,as did most of the vehicles there. We really enjoyed the meet and the craic with true lorry people.
Cheers Dave.
