My old mate The Big Hammer ( John White ) ,seen on the A44 at Stanner,Radnorshire.

I saw a couple of KTH Renault 8wheelers on the A470 near Abercynon yesterday, Dave. Also saw CW Griffiths old Volvo FM 8wheeler on Wednesday somewhere near Great Malvern.
I thought I was closing in on Renegade Territory, but I’m off to Devon on Monday and Bournemouth on Tuesday. If I got paid handball bonus I’d be quids in with those runs.

N H Jones eight legger Daf CF tipper, seen on the A44 leaving the Gore Quarry,Radnorshire.

Spent an enjoyable hour talking to the owner of this Peterbilt at " The Hollie’s Cafe Breakfast Meet " Trucknet menber pursy AKA Mark Purslow along with my old mate Trev H.

I think this one belongs to a Trucknet member, but we didn’t get to meet the owner.

Austin Gypsy fire vehicle at the A5 cafe.

I didn’t get a close look at this one at the Hollies.

Didn’t look to see if there were any potatoes in the boxes.

Dave it was nice to finally meet you Trev and I believe Saviem, thanks for posting the photo. I took my camera and managed to talk for ages and not get it out of the cab. Good job you have got Tracy well trained.
These sort of meetings are appealing as they dont take a whole day or weekend up,lets hope it gets a bit bigger but not too big eh.

Hi Mark,
I really enjoyed having a chat to you and Trev, have met up with Trev at a few shows.Tracy took just over fifty photo’s,not all older wagons, some of the modern wagons parked at the cafe as well.I will post them over the next few days.
I quite agree about the bigger shows. You don’t get the chance to have a decent chat as there is a lot to see.I like the shows with the older lorries. From what I could see the Hollies will attract more in the future.
I don’t think it will get to big,as its a different type of venue.
Cheers Dave.

An American Ford farm lorry, seen at the Hollie’s breakfast meet on the A5 near Cannock.

Looks as if its driven staight off a 1950’s film set.

Don’t know the two on the back of this K series Austin. Some thought they were a couple of retired hauliers who had hitched a lift down to the meet.

Its a credit to the people of Lloyds of Ludlow that keep their classic vehicles going. We go to several shows throughout the year and there’s usually some of their old ones there.
