Hi Graham,
Quite a few tippers up there.We only got a few as we passed through the town.Is the Foden still from the Bristol area,or is that where it originally came from.

i remember years ago how nerve wrecking it was crossing the COB it was so narrow that there was only a ■■■ papers width between you and the wall on the left and the truck on the right and it used to cost 5p to cross but early morning it was free

Went over the cob the other week, its a lot wider than it used to be and no toll !

They were still charging 5p to cross the Cob up until about three years ago,used to have a small table in the middle of the road.

They still got tolls on the two bridges lower down the coast,not that they would take a lorry.The wooden one below Barmouth doesn’t feel safe in my van.

Minffordd quarry,seen off the A487 from Penhryndeudraeth.

One of a number of F10’s we ran at Bewick Transport,this one had the 8 speed gearbox not the usual 16 speed.
