One of Burgoynes of Lyonshall – sadly not a snap of the old T45-cabbed Leyland that I saw the other day but one of their much newer but infinitely less interesting Renaults

Which bit of road is that Steve ? Good pics,Burgoynes have several Renault Premiums.I think you will see a lot more of them around,as they have the Volvo driveline but are much cheaper to buy.
Cheers Dave.
R.Adams have bought one; 460 and it goes like hell. When we hire Adams, they usually send it to us. Apparently, they like the Volvo driveline and cheaper price like you said.
hi dave,
we have carried out alot of work on premium’s.to look at the chassis,it’s an fm/fh direct copy.
regards andrew.
Hi Andrew,
KTH who I was cpc holder for have six Renault Premiums and as you say its Volvo, but a lot cheaper. They seem a good motor.
Cheers Dave.

P D Rees have always had smart lorries. The yellow sign on red looks good in my opinion.

Another one of R & B Transport.

Even the mixer boys like to show their lorries.

A few more from Carmarthen last Sunday.

It’s the A491 at Lydiate Ash - just off the M5 at J4
One of their much older Leylands chugged past me in Kidderminster the other day – they did also have a Seddon Atkinson shunter at one point - I think ---- not sure if they still have it?

They only use the older Leylands on the marquee side of the business Steve. They were still using the Sed/Atki last time I was in their yard.
Cheers Dave.

Greene’s ERF’s still looking good.

A striking looking Scania.

A bit of artwork at the show.

One of the older vehicles at the show

Yes right colour,we will have to see what Tiny thinks.
Cheers Dave.
i think you are correct
not sure which one it is though lol

Originally from Bishops Castle Shropshire, now owned by a West Wales family.

I think this ERF on the tractor pull could get a GV9 for excess smoke
.

It says bean muncher.I think it should be coal muncher
.

My old mate Graham Hillman gah1950 sent me these pics of a Cat 345 face shovel which he picked up from Breedon Aggregates Leinthall quarry.Graham’s big Scania is seen here on the A438 at Bronydd,Radnorshire taking a break on his way back to The Walters Group base at Hirwaun.

A few differing views of Graham’s outfit and load.

This Cat is going to the Walters workshops for a major overhaul.

Another angle of the STGO3 vehicle and load, with Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains in the background…

We didn’t look at the back of this Scania rigid, but with the size of the engine I would think its piped for a drag.
