Welsh Border and Mid Wales Hauliers 1950's onwards

A Mercedes Actros with no frills or bling, should suit Harry Gill for a test drive.

I have seen this old motor around several shows.Austin FFK140 with the 5.7 under-slung engine, quite a flying machine in its day.

A brand new one on the Mercedes stand for M & M Greene.

This firm had a good line up at Carmarthen.

A distinctive looking Scania.

Another two smart looking M A N’s.

hello dave,
it really surprises me how the waste carriers manage to present their trucks to show standards in a very short space of time, some i know may have lighter duties than others but full marks to them all.
graham.

You would need your HGV Harry if you were going to work the lorry. But as a runaround you could probably use your car licence.
Cheers Dave.

Wonder why one this new and in good condition was being sold? I know it’s 4 years old but we’ve got 1 and they’re great tippers.
