and then the treat of the day for me today

Not as old as the one legion posted. But these are a rare sight these days. Bulmers at Hereford used to have several of these Scammell Scarab’s running around a few years ago.

no but i think thats more pleasing to the eye

One of the many models that were inside.Would have got more pics of them as they are very good. But with the weather being poor it was quite crowded inside. These certainly made up for not spending time outside.

A line up from Mould’s of Reading.

Hi legion,
That F10 of Border ■■■■■■■■,used to come into the Strinds/Dolyhir quarries a few years ago for rockery stone.
Cheers Dave.

As usual a nice turn out from Bartlett’s at Gaydon.

I think this one would have suited Harry, better than the Scania 80 !

Tracy was taking the pictures, brolly in one hand, digi camara in the other.Ade and me were looking at the lorries,to be honest I never noticed the one in the background until I posted the pic.
Cheers Dave.

The long the short and the tall in this pic.Forgot to mention,we also bumped into our old mate Steve aka TNUK member Fryske and his young son going around outside.

This Scammell tipper still looks capable of doing a few loads of quarry material.

I liked that Routeman; I got a pic of it last year before they painted it up when it had an RMC liveried tipper body. Is that steam wagon shown earlier a Sentinel? Just going by the vertical boiler…

Yes and i took the photo about 15 miles away from where it was made

A couple more British classics’s.

A couple of ERF’s with FOR SALE signs in the windscreen.

Wiltshires of Babbacombe; Their 8wheel ERF/Man was in Gill Mill earlier, comes in about twice a week. Nicely looked after aswell. Their old ERF would make a good project lorry…

That six wheeler would be a nice lorry for you to buy for Callum,Nathan :bulb:  .
Cheers Dave.

A parrot nosed Dodge and a Commer ay Gaydon.

One for Harry and the rest of the BRS drivers.
