hiya,
Some cracking pics Dave but still prefer the ones without all the silly lights and cowcatchers, bah to bling.
thanks harry long retired.

That seems to be the in thing these days Harry.I have had a couple of driving lamps on most of my vehicles, but I wouldn’t be putting eight on,as some of these chap’s have.
Cheers Dave.

If you had 8 of them lights on the Merc Dave you would stop the engine if you switched them all on at once! throw the fanbelt off at least!! Cheers Dennis.

Would have to fit a dynamo off a pushbike on the back wheel to drive them Dennis  .
Cheers Dave.

Another from the tipper boys.

Some good pics there Dave of the Oswestry Truck Show, didn’t make it there this year.

The last pic of Neil Simons Tippers (Tarmac) are from my neck of the woods on the coast road they work out of Halkyn and Borras (Tarmac) quarries, ive also seen a young blonde girl driving one of the trucks and she don’t hang about either…most probably racing for the next load.

Hi Dave
Fair play to Mr Jones for keeping a skip lorry in that condition, given the kind of work they do and the places they have to get into, and at that age going by the reg, a real credit to the firm.
Cheers
John.

I did a bit of skip work as a stand in for a while between jobs, I didn’t mind the job it was a change to be home at nights, but trying to keep the wagon half tidy was soul destroying.
Cheers
John.
