HI boys

Dave the Renegade:

Even the F88 looks small against the newer units, with the Bedford at feet height.

Dave I went to talk to the lad that owned Pat’s old 88 what a nice guy. I had to take a double take when I saw him as he looks just like Pat RIP His day drive is that Scania on the right. and a tribute to him and his lad.

Regards Keith

Hi Keith,
I didn’t realise that was Pat’s old unit.I didn’t know him,but read about him on the various threads on here. When you mentioned it.I can now see the number plate which gives the game away, which I didn’t clock yesterday.
Are you going to Gaydon Keith.I’m hoping to go on the Sunday.
Cheers Dave.

Dave I saw it as I walked across the field and recognized it even though it was not blue. I had met Pat on a few occasions which is why it was a shock when I first saw its new owner. He was telling me that it was a reasonable easy restoration because of all the work Pat had put into it before he died.
Hoping to get to Gaydon on the Sunday and meet you in person

Regards Keith

A tidy looking Daf for a 13 year old.
Got that Keith, will keep an eye out for you.
Cheers Dave.
