hiya,
Dave have’nt a clue i think Our Trev might be the chap to put us right he’s still connected i’m more “dissected” in this day and age, nice looking motor though are they looking for a driver??, doctor give me a check over i’m going to resurrect the class 1 might just still be able to drag empty trailers around.
thanks harry long retired.

It is BRS rental, Volvo bought the BRS truck rental name and now of course they own Renault trucks, the haulage side of BRS went to Exel logistics which has now become part of DHL ( Deutsch post ), I’ve changed companies 3 times now but still have my service/ pension etc. and the same boss after 34yrs! I don’t have any name on the truck (a brs rental !!) just plain white :unamused:

Hi Harry & Trev,
Its a job to keep up with, who owns what these days.My brother in law has just been made redundant from the environment agency after 30 years, started with the water board, then his part of it became the national rivers authority, then became the environment agency.
Its job to know who your working for after a while I would think.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dave that Trev’s is mine of information all of it useful, any information i can proffer can only be classified as useless.
thanks harry long retired.

You put plenty of information on here that I find interesting Harry, also a lot of amusing stuff.
It was good to meet Trev,he spotted me just after we arrived at Oswestry, then we met up again later and had a bit more of a chat.He did say that he comes up your way with the lorry.
Hope to meet your good self one day Harry.
Cheers Dave.

Dave I went to talk to the lad that owned Pat’s old 88 what a nice guy. I had to take a double take when I saw him as he looks just like Pat RIP His day drive is that Scania on the right. and a tribute to him and his lad.

Regards Keith

Same here John, the firm my Dad drove for had several of those,my Dad had the first new A type Bedford which replace them in 1954.Those little lorries did a lot of work in their day,and as far as I know they never gave any trouble. The Bedford Coaches with that same 6 cylinder petrol engine was the same,we had one taking us to school.I can never remember them breaking down.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Keith,
I didn’t realise that was Pat’s old unit.I didn’t know him,but read about him on the various threads on here. When you mentioned it.I can now see the number plate which gives the game away, which I didn’t clock yesterday.
Are you going to Gaydon Keith.I’m hoping to go on the Sunday.
Cheers Dave.
