hi boys
Dave, did not make it last year to Oswestry but will try for this year. we’re short of big signs around our necks with our name on so that we know who we are  mind you over the last few months one or two of us have put photos up on here so there’s a chance I will get a cup of tea out of you yet

regards Keith

Hi Keith,
I will buy you a cup of tea,if I get there and meet up with you.Last year we took our own tea and sandwiches and eat them in the van,a cheaper job,but I wouldn’t begrudge you a cup of tea  .
Cheers Dave.

A Foden eight wheeler mixer of Dave Neville’s,seen in his yard.

Another of Dave Neville’s Foden eight legger’s,seen in his yard near Hereford.

Another of Dave Neville’s mixers, which he hired out in various parts of the country.

A Leyland Freighter parked at the back of Dave Neville’s yard.

A break from Dave Neville’s lorries, his Dad drove for Midland Red and I would think judging by the pics Dave lent me was a mechanic. This one came to grief somewhere between Hereford and Shrewsbury.

Midland Red took over the GWRs bus operations during the 30s. It backfired on the Western as they rapidly undercut the rural railways-the line between Kingham and Banbury lost their passsenger trains in1951 because of this.

They still operate the buses in Hereford Nathan, also in the rest of the midlands as far as I know.
Cheers Dave.

The poor old bus being pulled back upright.

Judging by the size and the mixer.I would think thi s is one of Dave Neville’s Son’s who now drives a new mixer for Alpha Haulage out of Cemex Hereford.

An Atkinson artic,of Dave Nevilles, seen loading at Hereford.
