Usually they don’t travel to far John. I don’t like the way they have cropped all the pics on these threads down to postcard size.
I don’t like the cropped postcard like pics,can’t see the detail on the vehicles,have viewed the comments about the new layout,but I suppose it’s got to be done

Dave taught myself to become articulated in the tractor version of this model took me a couple of hours one rainy morning in November 1957 great little motor Scammell coupling and would it fly in those days drove it down to Enfield the same day.

Hi Harry,
Never drove an S type Bedford,drove several other Bedfords,my Dad drove S types with the Perkins R6 engine,seemed a big four wheeler in the 50’s,look small now.I remember seeing a few of artics similar to the one you drove.

My late uncle Pete “Puggy” Bowers drove one for Sands and Gravels he reckoned the petrol engined version was great for off-road work. He used to get a lot of farm and water board work with it.
