How come she’s not in CEMEX livery Dave? They’ve all been changed around here now. I know of a driver at Kidlington plant who had a P reg Daf 75 in RMC colours and was told “paint it or sell it and buy another one”. He’s in his early 70s! Cemex normally pay for it to be done but this truck was deemed too old and operator then told he had to sell it as it didn’t suit company image due to it’s age. It passed every MOT without problem and no more breakdowns than an normal used mixer…

Not sure about that Nathan.I used to work for KTH until a couple of years ago, they inherited the mixers when they took over another firm.I would think they are too old to repaint.
Cheers Dave.

Just wondering if the driver is exersizing the drivers perk and having a ■■■■■ on the nearside front wheel, I always opened the the passenger door for extra privacy although anybody trying to see anything would have needed poweful binoculars in my case.PS I do check every posting.

Hi Harry,
Yo could be right, although we pulled in just up the road to get some more pics, and the unit came back past us.DHL have a depot in Leominster,so perhaps it was just having a trip down the bypass as a test run after having work done on it.
Cheers Dave.
