These are the older Scanias. I have shown these Stan Archer timber lorries on this thread,
as he was a Borderman from Leintwardine.

I think he is a brother to Alec and Fred Archer, both hauliers as you know Hywel.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
Alick Archer - RIP was Stan’s uncle – and Fred - RIP was Stan’s brother.

Hi Hywel,
I knew Fred had passed away, didn’t know much about Alick, have had pictures of his son’s lorries, also Freds son Donalds lorry.

Don’t think they have a depot in Hereford KK,think they come up from Newport on a collection-delivery service.
Cheers Dave.

Hi John,
We have been taking pics all around the Kington area over the last two years,it was only when we were parked on the opposite side of the roundabout last week, that I thought why the hell haven’t we been parked on the other side next to the industrial estate taking pics, everything has to slow down for the doughnut ( well nearly everything),that would be a good place and its only 10 minutes from home. :bulb:
Cheers Dave.
