I thought you Shropshire/Welsh Border lads would like to know that the ex Blowers ERF 5522 AW “Border Queen” is alive and well in the Isle of Man,parked at the Transport museum at Jurby.I’ll put some pics on of her when I’ve got me 35mm film developed - not in the digital age yet :laughing: .The wagon was bought by JCK of Ballasalla,near Castletown,and repainted in their livery to celebrate 25 years in business.She’s also been re-registered,carrying IOM plates.

That’s quite a way from where she was at Halfway House,Shrewsbury Chris,at least the lorry is still around.

Hi great too know it has gone too a good home . I knew Reg though one of his daughters Heather. He did a real good restoration of the truck.
