Hi Andrew,
I met three of those wednesday morning, were you in one of them. I don’t know anyone on for Jonathon Rogers now Francis Jones has left.Great pics by the way.
Cheers Dave.

HI Dave, no still doing the fuel sales job for Countrywide during the week, help out on the waggons at the wekends and loving every moment of it. After last year, when I truly doubted if I would ever get behind the wheel again, its a great feeling plus a true stress buster from the sales job. Guess ive still got derv in the blood !!
regards Andrew.

How many is he running Andrew.I met the two Daf’s and a M A N i think the newer one was.
Cheers Dave.

Yes Dave, Johns got the three on the road at the moment ( two Dafs and the 08 MAN) and all three are very smart, but he has also got another Daf in the workshop waiting to go on the road. Im very impresed with the superspace, drives and pulls very well, but after years on a Volvo I still reach towards the dash to put the handbrake on, only to find it behind gearstick
rergards Andrew.

Hi Harry, yep was a good old lorry but the tin worm got to her in the end, remember having to strap the passengwer door closed to stop it opening on right hand bends  , also on the lookout for a dry layby so that you could nip under the trailer to adjust the brakes !!.
In the early eighties I almost bought a immaculate 240 F88 that had been recabed with a brand new cab to replace her from Stroud, but decided that a 240 was a little underpowered even then ( now had it been a 290, or even a F89 then it would have been a different story !! )
I wonder if that F88 at Stroud is still around ?, prehaps somebody out there knows what happened to her.
regards Andrew.
