Going by the hubs and the mudguards, it is a Volvo.

In that photo is that the actual driver climbing out of the wreckage after the crash? [emoji15]

Either that or he’s gone back in to try to retrieve phone/wallet maybe
With the other drivers there offering help to him it suggests he’s climbing down after the crash :open_mouth:

It was the version 4 Fh .

Also bearing in mind that could be the remains of the cab after the emergency services have chopped it to pieces to firstly allow paramedics to attend to and check out and then release the driver. :bulb:

Forgot to put the tacho on break?

would have thought thered be a whif of steam or smoke .Spose that could have been taken 30 mins after the actual crash jus before plod arrived . Even if that is the driver in the photo i bet hes got serious whiplash

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: How did he get out of that mess unhurt!

Bleep the lottery, I’d just be thankful I was still alive n walking.

"errr Hello boss,

“You know that deal you got on the cheap Chinese steer-axle tyres?”

Quick thinking by the driver, climbing out and seeing the front tyre burst by the impact, there’s my get out of jail free card!

The driver got away with only fourteen stitches in his head - very fortunate guy !

Amazing!

It’s me guv, do we have any T-Cut in the workshop?

Didn’t know he’d had any stitches.
He was in the garage on Saturday morning talking about the incident

What was his version of events?

Cosmic:
Well the driver’s brother on Facebook is saying that it was caused by a front blow-out on the Robert Walker truck. So the Koops lorry was in the lay-by minding his own business.

Case solved then, it was on facebook :unamused:

Yeah, sorry I had to squash your speculative nonsense with some actual facts from someone very close to source.

I wasn’t in the garage last Saturday, so didn’t speak to him myself, the fitter I work with was talking to him, i don’t know what exactly caused the accident so I won’t post speculation
I know I’m going to be busy repairing the trailer!

Just speaking to a Walker driver, it was a subby unit (crash driver is the boss and has 4 units in walkers) and it was caused by a DOUBLE blowout apparently.
