morning lads,
with regard to the welsh nolan drivers, there aren’t many now.if you see a 6 wheeler unit, then that would be a welshman, though their road foreman is a scot who lives in wales .they all have 6 wheeler daf’s as some of our “new european neighbours” have difficulty sometimes after loading
.
regards andrew
the fact is gaz, its not YOUR private land therefore it has nothing to do with you, for all you know nolan might have an agreement with the owner of that land, youre an out and out mongrel if you call the council on something like that, thats a dog act, got nothing to do with you.
hopefully you wont do it anyway

I did admit that i was wrong in how i approached it, and may have edited the postBut i still think that parking 15 wagons and dropping trailer on private land that isn’t your is a bit cheecky!
And as for me wanting to park in Holyhead, i live here!
And Parking in London, most weeks thanks!
Maybe i was in a bad mood yesterday and this just set me off on the wrong foot, we all have bad days!
oh i get it now you dont like nolans parking were you live but your ok parking most weeks on someone elses doorstep…yer i get it completely now gaz
but as for being in a bad mood i guess we all have those days especially when truckers are ■■■■■■■■ down your back fence
Gaz:
Right i have a complaint and want to know before i start kicking off that i’m correct to do so.NOLANs ship through Holyhead and have anything between 10-15 units parked in Holyhead over an average weekend.
Now these boys park in ARGOS’s car park, albiet down the side where the access road is. They often drop 2 or three trailers there and basically treat it as their Holyhead depot.
I’m a tramper and appreciate the lack of HGV parking in Holyhead, and anywhere else, but surelythis aint right? There are no facilities for the drivers so they must be wee ing outside etc.
If i wanted to run 15 trucks on irish sea freight and park them there i would get hung!
I also know that these units are EIRE registered so are technically weekended so not subject to UK O liscence laws.
Would i be within my rights to write to the local council and local press as i think they are taking the mickey!
What does anyone think?
100% you would be in your rights, I take it you are going to get on their case about not providing enough facilities for all the poor truckers that are forced to park up at Argos because of the inadequate parking provided by the same council that benefit from all the trade created by truck movements in the UK.
Of course if you want to complain about trucks parking where you want to park, then I think you would be completely wrong, and if you want to complain about trucks parked in the UK that come from another country, think on, because the only reason they park where they do is because the UK plc is the worst country in Europe for providing facilities for truck drivers so until you come up with a good sugestion on how to solve that could I sugest you drop the nimby attitude and concider what you would do in their situation.
Is this bloke a great example of truckers unite
Oh and what has being Polish or any other nationality got to do with it?
Another thing

if you do what they do and park on the other side of the Irish sea to where you are based I doubt very much that you would even be bothered yet alone hung
