i’ve been there a couple of times, no complaints.
regarding the comments about access. it looks worse than it is. when you’ve been once you’ll know what i mean.

Access is fine so long as you go straight on and 'round the back of the building, rather than trying to turn left and ending up creating huge holes whilst failing to swing 'round.
Egress is fine so long as you put your indicator on, count to 10, shut your eyes, and go.
Seriously, it’s not as bad as it looks, and anyone with any sense will automatically be moving into the outside lane when they approach anyway, to avoid the kamikaze cars coming out of the garage.

There are 2 pictures on the wall on the right as you walk in that have only recently been put up. If any one can tell me by ringing my mobile 07872 510658 what the pictures are I will give the first person to ring a free All Day Breakfast (£4.70) the next time they come in, if they can tell me what they match in the cafe I will give them a free Special Breakfast (£5.95).
Thats gotta be worth a visit
Nice to see someones trying for us drivers. Although not in an area I work if I’m ever that way I’ll call in…
Good luck to you both

We are also looking to get Wifi installed and working out some way of drivers being able to access it when on overnight parking, comments and sugggestions on this would be appreciated.if you get wifi installed and you want the drivers to use it of a night time when the engineers install they can adjust your antenna for that but make sure you have some kind of password only available from the bar or cafe to stop the trailer/locker eaters from just parking and abusing the system
Agree with that WBIS
I just watched this,I thought it was a well put together piece,a little bit sad too.

Hi Again people
Just a quick update
We have now had the premises painted and some of the potholes have been filled in, trade has probably doubled in the last couple of weeks and we are just waiting for BT to install a landline so we can get the WiFi installed.
Cheers
Safe Journeys
Steve
Called in yesterday greeted by two happy ladies and a “Beetle Juice” look a like ( ) from behind the counter. Full breakfast was well worth the money, and will certainly be calling in here again …
Good luck with the place…
Got a regular run up that way starting soon, so look forward to popping in and giving it a go!

Strange! Steve (The owner?) posted this a few weeks ago:
"ALL DAY BREAKFAST
BACON, SAUSAGE, EGG, FRIED BREAD, BEANS, TOMATOES, BREAD & BUTTER OR TOAST ( 2 THICK SLICES), TEA OR COFFEE (FREE REFILL) £4.70
SPECIAL BREAKFAST
BACON, SAUSAGE, 2 EGGS, FRIED BREAD, BEANS, TOMATOES, BLACK PUDDING, MUSHROOMS, HASH BROWN, BREAD & BUTTER OR TOAST ( 2 THICK SLICES), TEA OR COFFEE (FREE REFILL) £5.95"
Says Tea or Coffee included plus a free refill… Go ask for your £1 back
the special brekkie is over priced at £5.95, should be about £4.50 and the smaller breakfast about £3.70 and tea should always be included … whats the price of a tea bag.
containerbase in leeds has a blinding cafe doing really nice breakfast for £3.50 inc tea.
jessicas dad:
the special brekkie is over priced at £5.95,
at Whitwood it’s £5 so maybe your right, however they will have to price stuff to match their start up costs.
As for the Internet wifi access, I think it should be McDonalds style with poster up on the wall inside displaying the logins for free. Whether they choose to change the key daily/weekly is up to them. But users would still need to go in the cafe to see the key, and probably buy a drink or meal while inside. To make it only available to those who pay for parking etc would be wrong IMO
Hi People
Just had chance to login as I am back at home. Just in response to some of the comments, I recently took the included brew off the menu because the prices in the cafe have been the same for the last four years and our suppliers hit us with a 3% increase in April and believe me it is hard enough making a living, by the way free refills are still available and given. With reference to the WiFI I am trying to get the Broadest Bandwidth so the number of users aren’t affected and the speed is constant and unfortunately I don’t have the funding that Macdonalds have and the better quality I want the more I have to pay. With reference to people coming into the cafe to get the code off a poster in the Cafe, we have drivers that park on the car park and either go to the garage to purchase something or just sit there and eat their own sandwiches even when the signs say parking for Cafe patrons only. We are trying to provide and improve a quality service but when we are paying £580 per week in rent alone I find it difficult to accept critical comments on what I believe to be a well priced establishment, facilities will never improve if tight arses just want to use my £580 per week car park or free and sit there and eat their own sandwiches.
Kind Regards
Steve
well to be honest steve i wont becoming to eat your over priced breakfast without tea .
