As much as it might come as a shock to some, when I’ve parked up after 13 plus behind the wheel, I don’t want to talk to my neighbor next to me about :
Where he’s loaded out of.
What he’s loaded with.
What he told his planner to do with his unrealistic load time
What time he’s hoping to be on the boat to Calais tomorrow.
What his next piece of tat he’s ordered to stick on (his bosses) truck.
Plus theirs those selfish ones amongst you that have to run the engine every now and then for what reason I don’t know( maybe work for a firm that fixes your faulty night heater if thats the issue)
You might be lucky enough to park next to DickyNick that would be a treat for you just imagine what you might learn and maybe just maybe you too could also become a driving god
That’s just my mate there fanaticising about what he would like to happen for himself.

I’m with you on that mate.
You get a better class of like minded trucker on an ind est near the town centre. who may even go for a pint with you to watch the football, (but only if you both agree not to mention any of the points you list,.and talk transport for no more than 10 minutes. )
No desire to spark up a conversation on a MSA with some twonk parked up overnight next to you blackening his tyres or polishing his tank. , so I avoid MSA.s like rabies, and only use truckstop for high value loads
