A day and a halves work…is that
480 round trip means you have a max of ten hours and need to average 48mph. Chances are sllim than slim from planet slim

Used to do it 5 nites a week from Trafford park up and back. Full weight goin , empty coming back , roughly same distance I would have thought
4 of us are going down from Asda Grangemouth to Carrington (Manchester) tomorrow to pick up trailers from TIP trailer rental, hope we’re not delayed too much!

Most Fridays it was leave Penrith truck stop, Tip ellsmere port, load Winsford for Grangemouth. In the yard by 5:30 pm.

I did it on days 0600 start trouble starts when you reach Lancaster traffic just starts building up

I used to do Haydock to Grangemouth, well Falkirk, night trunk on a regular basis, four hours twenty minutes door to door.
Fully loaded both ways, I once put 320 litres in a Volvo FH for the round trip.
