So after him asking you to put you licence on the line you go and make the delivery and on top of that you bring his truck back to him and then jack just so he can do it to the next guy.
I would have been looking to get myself home after the first phone call and leave the truck where it was and if that was not possible i would have brought the whole lot back undelivered therefore he wont ask anyone again, guys like him love drivers like yourself because he has never being taught a lesson.

I seriously doubt anyone would be sued for simply saying where they worked. Plus, you could save someone the bother of taking what was your job.

Very funny but a little worrying that you just happened to have that photo at hand. :open_mouth:

Good call, plenty of yes men would have done what they were told, then ■■■■ and moan about it to everyone but the boss, that type of nonsense is one of the reasons to avoid for profit transport.

If everybody did what the OP did when asked to run bent, the transport industry would be a better place.

Nah … I saw it somewhere else and it amused me so I saved the link.
I doubt it would be big enough to fit the majority of truck driver manboobs :open_mouth:

I don’t know Col.

All this chopping and changing jobs. Very unprofessional.

I hope he stopped for coffee on the way back

Wouldn’t help anyway even in court, as 1 party of the phone call didn’t know they were being recorded, the regulation of investigatory powers Act 2000, basically says you can only record with out the other parties permission for personal use.

Obviously if things went that far then it would be different but I’ve used it successful to catch out managers and office staff alike giving me wrong information and denying it later to make me look a liar…

Incorrect the word ACT 2000 it’s a act not law.

Good luck with your new venture mate. I have 27 spare sets of assorted uniform if you need any
