I agree that not all coppers are bad however it is common knowledge that those in traffic are not at the top of the IQ list in the police and these are the ones we come into contact with the most. In 10 years of drivin i have been racially abused, told that the address on my licence didn’t exist been told by a policeman in Lancashire that my accent is stupid sorry i don’t come from up north. Had a parking ticket cancelled as out of 3 lorries i was the only one to be a given a ticket i was on Northern Irish plates other 2 lorries english. However was stopped on M6 just before A580 on Monday morning copper very polite held for 15 mins than sent on no problems so they can get it right but in my experience few and far between.

What’s up are you one of them? Hence why you are being so defensive of them. Like many I was brought up to respect the police, that respect went out of the window a long time ago. Most are corrupt in one way or another.

Ive always supported the police even after 2 merseyside policemen tried to fit me up after they crashed their police car and tried to blamed me. My car insurance supported me in court instead of just paying out and i won the case. I got £55 loss of earnings for the day 
.
Even after being pulled 29 times in 30 days i still supported them as i was legal.
However north wales police have today totally removed my faith in any officer to wear the uniform. I will gladly now tar every one of them with the same brush thanks

Not really true is it Fatboy. Think about it, i am now a everyday person earning a crust. I have seen how the police works from the inside and i will express an opinion on things when people go on about something they haven’t got a clue about.
I am a true believer with what i am going to say, and i have heard it and seen it done before, when people say “I ■■■■■■■ hate the police. I won’t call them, i deal with it myself (Whilst pushing there little 6” chest out)" 1 week later that said person is calling the police.
Thing i also like to state that most people on here have dealt with traffic officers, who are known not to have a personality, and deal with things by the book. I was a beat bobby who would talk to you with respect and treat you with respect as i feel respect is earned that way. if you come across a beat bobby you will notice the difference.
My advice is, when you are stopped by a traffic officer don’t give it large from the word go. Speak to them as you would towords your wife and things will go quite nicely. If you give it jack the lad act all the way through then your buggered. They will find something wrong on your truck and report you for it, simples.
