Volvo F10,F12,F16

Here’s a photo of two of the above, my F12 on the right and Derek Harts F10 (299) Intercooler, we were weekended at Clauds @ St Genis in France on the way to Vic in Spain, we were both loaded with smelly skins, (hence nobody parked nearby :open_mouth: !!!)

Ross.

Saw these 2 old soldiers today, still working and earning their keep.
Sounded lovely.

This was taken in my yard as I returned from a somewhat eventfull trip to Spain, I’d loaded out to Huelva, re-loaded Granada and encountered striking Spanish drivers at Pamplona, I decided NOT to stop and had rocks and lumps of concrete thrown at my cab smashing the windscreen. I decided to drive it home rather than have one fitted down there.

Good luck with your online search, I hope you find a good one - I often see your Volvo Tractor Unit in the Transport yard next door to the Co-operative in Birtley where i work!.

cheers phil dont want a left ■■■■■■ or a ridgid but will keep on looking thanks for your reply
That green F12 looks really nice but I bet if it’s been done properly it won’t be much less (if not more) than £15,000, it’d still be well more than £10k looking like that if it had oly been ‘cocked’!!

Hi Ross,

As you said in a previous post, these Volvo Units are a good investment, and they are a credit to their owners. Finding some good examples of F10 and F12 especially rhd are about as rare as hens teeth!.Probably about £15k - £20k. My favourite one is mk2 F12 Globetrotter 6X2, I would love the chance to find a good one,and restore one to as new condition!. I admire anyone who has done this, and to keep these great trucks going!!.

Regards

Phil.
