I’m getting my 730d remapped soon but cant do the Passat for some reason which also uses Adblue.
Our 8wheeler was remapped and now the “360” runs like something with more power.
And adblue consumption has improved, massively.

Heard on the news this morning that it’s more than likely almost every car company has been at it and this could indeed be the tip of a very big iceberg. It did say that almost every diesel car could be recalled at some point if it’s found out that other car company’s have been at it.The big question then will be, can those cars be modified to meet the standard or are diesels that bad that they had to revert to a software fudge. Can we really see London raising the LEZ limit? I don’t think so, the Liberals will be in uproar.
Will they ban all VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda/MAN and Scania outside the M25? Can’t see that happening either…

The London LEZ doesn’t apply to most cars, except for a few 4x4’s and pick-ups, so you can in theory drive the dirtiest most polluting family saloon into London.
Don’t forget all those VW vans, ie Transporters/caddy’s etc. If they are found to be as polluting as the old ones, ie before 2002 then yes they will be banned.
In the worst case scenario, if the cars are also found to be more pollutant then the 2002 standard they could well be banned.
As I said interesting times.
The Telegraph is now reporting that VW were at it with their petrol cars also, if that is true this could well bankrupt them.
A fella from the law company who is taking VW to the cleaners in America has said on the news that people who own a VW car may be able to claim the full price they bought the car for and also the devaluation that this will have caused to the value of the car now
If it gets a few of those awful VW Hippy vans off the road it can’t be all bad can it?
