Marvellous. Parked up for the night at Stibbington, had a decent meal and now a bunch of us have to endure some puddle jumper drivers’ phone conversations because he’s using hands free. Anyone else find this annoying?
Yes but not as annoying as
A) people who run their fridges all night.
B) people who love music it are DEAF!
C) rare but there some who bring a games console and plug that in to the radio.

What are they supposed to do then?
And for the last 20 minutes or so, some ■■■■ has had their reversing bleeper going constantly. Still, the lass behind the counter displayed some generous cleavage earlier.
I think I may’ve spotted Switchlogic parked in a layby near Guyhirn earlier. Possibly giving cookery lessons to the tea van owner■■?
By your answer seems I’m wrong here but I was told they have to them off after 11?

At 10pm at Stibbington, according to the parking voucher.

I just know whats coming next, and you’ve turned into a NIMBY !!! You’re gonna say there’s lorrys coming and going all hours next, i just know it !!!
■■■■ man, is there anything you don’t moan about?
Mike, I’ll be the one “going during the night” (well 4am anyway) so I’ll probably annoy them.
Scaniason, I’m actually quite happy today. Got more done than I thought I would.
I was going to stop at stib tonight, I could have hit a picture of you being happy for the scrapbook!
Manfully I struggled on to Cambridge svcs though. Rammed full, with two dorises in a little horse box (transit sized) taking up 2 bays and refusing to move for anybody.
(■■■■, I’m doing it as well now!)
And there’s a fridge next to me, hope it’s not going to be on all night, why can’t they park somewhere else, gonna turn it off when he’s asleep (have I missed anything out?)
Btw, going back to your original post, yes it does ■■■■ me off when they have a full volume hands free conversation with a window or door open - I usually start joining in (unless they’re a big bloke!)
Jesus, is there anything you wont moan about? You’d easily win the truck drivers moaning world cup, and that would be some feat

Yasssss, love the boobies

And hope he doesn’t see you. That’s brave of you.
Why don’t fridge drivers park somewhere else?
Because there is nowhere else!
Why don’t they switch their fridges off at night?
Because some loads need to be kept within a specified temperature range at all times, ice cream for eg. There is usually a temp’ recording devise somewhere. It may be visible, it may not be.
I’ve only done reefer work through an agency on short term jobs, a long time ago.
I have avoided reefer work because I don’t like trying to sleep with a damned reefer motor hammering away in my ear all night. No-one else does either. You get used to it eventually, but most reefer drivers will turn it off if that’s feasible. If it’s on, it’s on for good reason, not just to wind everyone else up.
The comment about ‘have I missed anything out?’ Might have suggested to you that I was joking about the usual complaints people come out with about fridges. Personally, I couldn’t give a toss about them, they don’t bother me, and u sleep right through them. As for turning them off, anybody who does that should be forced to consume whatever product is ruined in the back of them. And as for parking elsewhere, id already said that the place was rammed - obviously I was being too subtle with my post, and I’ll have to be a lot more blunt in future,
There are separate parking areas set aside for running fridges they are called LAYBYS!

So sorry for pulling a fridge perhaps your family can live on goods pulled by curtainsiders and box vans only in the meantime just accept that fridges are part and parcel of transport and yes I want separate parking in the services too but I don’t see why I should have to park in a layby with no facilities just because you can’t sleep.
