Using Hands Free When Parked Up

Cotswoldcrunch:
Marvellous. Parked up for the night at Stibbington, had a decent meal and now a bunch of us have to endure some puddle jumper drivers’ phone conversations because he’s using hands free. Anyone else find this annoying?

You drive something only a little bit bigger than a puddle jumper lol

Good idea Seth; I could’ve had the windows open then and avoided the dust storm. At least they’ve levelled/took a JCB to the lorry park (my last visit was a reminder of my tipper days  )

Does anybody else get the feeling that Cotswoldcrunch/Muckaway/Nathan has a ■■■■ sitting down? You know, like a girl.

Or is it just me?

Unwriting sub section b highway code I must not park in earshot of any other driver with a running fridge as not to disturb the peace.
It’s in the handbook we all seem to have lost.

I’d rather get ■■■■■■ sitting down. Hate standing in pubs, the only benefit to standing is that I can leg it out the door if there’s a charity collection.

Cots mate get some ear plugs n man up this worlds not perfect

What does it matter if someone uses hands free when not driving ? I have found that people find my conversation clearer when I am wearing mine, it also enables a person to carry on a conversation whilst eating etc. How does it interfere with you may I ask ? Have you nobody to talk to when not driving ? … You poor thing

Classic, and I believe women talk on the bog too

I think they’re talking about the hands free that uses the stereo and not an earpiece.

I use the bluetooth in my truck radio for the company phone.
When parked up, if I’ve got the radio on, I’ll carry on the conversation through the hands free. For one thing, if I switch off the radio the call will be dropped. Another thing is, I’ll have my hands free to write down any instructions/load references/addresses. It’s quite handy actually

Nath. You don’t eat enough swan,

Anyone that can’t sleep with fridges running, drivers trailer swapping, reverse beepers etc just isn’t working hard enough!!

Some people just like to moan anyway moving on

Why do drivers refer to vehicles smaller than there own as puddle jumpers as if it’s intended as an insult, why does it matter what they drive ,I presume it’s because the driver of the larger vehicle has small willy syndrome or their wife bullies them and they’re the ones who have a wee in a cubicle rather than the urinal.i go where the money is my self ,belingo van ,pick up ,low loader ,artic tipper ,Greece ,Sweden ,Italy ,local ,it makes no odds .

I mainly drive a “puddle jumper” and I get paid a ■■■■ sight more than most on here judging by all the crap pay threads, so they can call me what they like.

I’d rather jump puddles and have a wad in my back pocket than cross oceans and earn peanuts.

I think a puddle jumper is a 7.5 tonner not sure why myself  Apparently I drive a juggernaut at 44 tons :unamused: :unamused:

Fixed that for you mate!
