As an Essex resident I’ll admit that some bits are less savoury however I think to tar it all with the same brush is unjust. A lot of the county is very pleasant. I find that if you ignore everything south of the A127 then things improve immensely.
Road wise it has to be Lincolnshire more mud on the roads than in the fields a truck wash or two on some of the exit roads would make a fortune
Have I seen that gypsies have moved back on to that site next to the m25 in Essex ,it was in the papers not long back about the courts moving them on from there .

Inside the M25 near the M11, I think that bit is technically LB Havering land so not Essex. Will also say that as far as I’m concerned Essex stops at the M25 anyway.
This is no contest, it’s the wear part of Tyne & wear. In some areas they use turds as air freshners.
