Yes on the main part in my opinion. If Britain isn’t primarily for the British, Germany primarily for the Germans, Poland for Poles and Canada for Canadians there is absolutely no point in any of those countries existing as they do, granting citizenship, having cultural groups and populations that identify with that area of land, having armies, navies and air forces who swear allegiance to that land and often die in the name of it.
If I as a British citizen and native of that country (well 50% native) have absolutely no benefit over a complete newcomer then what’s the point of it all. Why not let any nationality join the British army, why not let absolutely any one play for the English/Scottish etc national football teams, why not make the official language of Bradford Urdu, the official language of Leicester Gujarati and Boston Polish. Why not offer all British school places to any EU citizen even if they currently live in Bulgaria, Sweden or Italy.
Now in my opinion, nationality, cultural belonging and putting your own people first in their own country do matter, very much so. These are some of the very fundamental foundations of actually having a country in the first place but in western Europe these foundations have being severely undermined by opening the door wide open, ignoring the existing population and effectively turning the country in to a united nations refugee camp with every nationality under the sun represented and jostling for influence while the British people themselves often look on in bewilderment as the country they now live in would not be recognised by their grand parents, and especially by those who apparently fought and even died fighting fascism so that this situation could be allowed to happen in the first place. Now I can’t speak for any war veteran of any side, but I have strong doubts that many of those who fought in the British army had images of their future and the future of their country being the current predicament where in the next 50 years they and their descendants could well number less than 50% of the population, despite the fact that when they went to war to fight fascism, indigenous British peoples must have accounted for 99+% of the population.

And thats your idea of progress is it…hang on i’ll just slip down the antique shop and grab a 1976 calendar, then i can doff me cap t’gaffer and handball 20 tons of Fisons best fertiliser on, rope and sheet it, then plough up the road in me non power steering Foden with satans 12 speed crash gearbox, then unsheet it and handball it off into a hatchway at some godforsaken mud bath farm, and all for the pricely sum of £90 a week average.
Thank goodness for good unionised companies setting the standards in terms and conditions, small companies can’t compete obviously but drivers if they use their heads can try their best to get onto the better jobs, and encourages other companies to up their game if they want to retain the best staff.
The race to the bottom is here, but we don’t need to help it along…what do you want next, unlimited access from anywhere in the world, its possible Indian and Chinese lorry drivers would do the same job as the Romanians for half the price again, and they’ll send all their money home too so no benefit to our economy at all (and get family allowance for any children back home), where does it all end when is cheap enough cheap enough.

Are they not asking for agency on rolling contract drivers in fact?
I’ve enquired more than once about Tescos taking on drivers, and have been told that tescos are not actually employing anyone other than third-party staff recruitment firms like TRG to “fill shifts” and thus have all the extra layers between them and the drivers that suggest that the so-called 60 drivers will actually be sub-contractors rather than “proper” full timers, with full access to Tescos full timer’s benefits & perks.
Let’s hear from some new recuits who are getting the tesco final salary pension, staff discounts, 6 weeks paid holiday, free healthcare cover, tescos staff bonuses, profit sharing schemes, and even tescos uniforms worn with pride I reckons… 
Can someone even produce a tescos payslip I’m wondering?

Yes there are useless british drivers and you only have to read some of the antics posted here to see that. Theres also plenty of decent ones who have pretty decent jobs for employers who dont have to recruit overseas but your not going to find a job there advertised on the job centre website.
