UK Gov loses again

I don’t really care on ‘other regimes’ but on the one we have in power right now seemingly hellbent on destroying what remains of our industry and society.

Mid-wits gonna mid-wit.

Wellll that’s the tricky part isn’t it? You are very narrative driven in your selection of things to believe, something you have proven time and time again.

As someone who actually does read what you post it’s glaringly apparent that if an outlet that you frowned upon posted that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west you’d refute it absolutely (backed up with links from other like minded individuals). Whereas if a source you considered reliable reported that the sun rose in the west and set in the east you’d not only embrace that you would also go on to repeat that mantra ad nauseam whilst at the same time berating those who didn’t agree.

A closed mind is a closed mind is a closed mind.

So…
Why did you introduce Solzhenitsyn and the USSR?
An author who is missed, and a regime that is not missed*

*except by Putain, who is busy reconstructing it now.

Ok you are either retarded or you like things getting worse.

Which is it?

He’s just trolling or being literally a smarmy gobshisha at this point. LOL.

People like him are just spiritual losers.

Obviously because their CCP handlers regard ‘our’ oil and gas resources as ‘theirs’ to be stored for future use.For when they’ve run Iraq dry and empty.

Looks like this manic raving loon could be getting his claws clipped a bit.

(Why does he always look to me like he’s in need of an exorcism.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)

What does that mean?

If something is incorrect, and if I have evidence to refute it, then I will do so.
Why wouldn’t I?

A closed mind is not going to accept summat when given evidence to support it. I think I will accept summat if it is supported by evidence. I will not merely accept summat on the say-so of a stranger.

Oh No!
What can I possibly do?

It seems that the head of the Oxford Union Debating Society is now here on TNUK!
Flawless logic and razor sharp wit. How can any of us survive against such eloquence?

You could have saved a lot of time and printing by putting something like this as your reply to Maoster.

‘‘Ya know what mate, reckon you’re right, that’s me personified.’'.

Okay we’ve established that.

Personally known to you were the folk you formed your Covid opinions on, or perhaps your Putin or Israeli thoughts on?

Personally known to me? No.
But I personally know medical and scientific professionals. I talked to them and learnt a bit from them.

Since 99% of the medical profession says C19 is serious, then it would take a lot to convince me otherwise. Certainly not a struck off Dr who learnt his stuff decades ago. Nor a nurse with doctorate in YouTube.
I have never met anyone from Which? magazine but happily take their advice on things. I do not personally know experts in many situations so do rely on other sources.
I read reports of many types. I have looked at many (certainly not all, life is too short) of the GBN videos put up here. I can listen to arguments and decide for myself which hold more water.:
Those of retired Generals and tacticians, or failed metal traders who used to work for Russian TV.

And I can also look at reports of things and make a guess about it’s accuracy.
If a politician makes a statement about an intended scheme this month, is a report about a company, working in a different field, being awarded a contract, for something not yet decided on, not yet specified, not yet passed by the HoC lekely to be true?
I think not. And anyone giving credence to such reports will IMHO be lacking in judgment.
I would also look elsewhere to see if such reports exist, or are discussed elsewhere.

That’s excellent, I’m sure you do.

I speak to my neighbours, one of whom likes to fish a bit, another who is a farm labourer, after talking to them I now feel qualified to lecture everyone else on the Government’s fisheries and agriculture policy.

As for the Ukrainian conflict I’m assuming that you personally know some cadets or maybe scouts to help you out?

‘‘Medical and scientific professionals ‘‘ eh?

Yeah Franglais ….course ya do, and you ain’t just swallowing official rhetoric or agenda on Covid and the like whatsoever are ya mate.

By the same token you must personally know a few loony left nut jobs also eh?

Got it, cheers for the clarification, you definitely had us all there.

:joy:

Maybe his ‘ scientist and doctor mates’’ came over on dinghies.:joy::joy:

Quote from link on digital ID cards ;

‘‘But this isn’t true, according to both the government and the company in question’’

Ah well that’s got me convinced then.
